I'm surprised you don't have any of the Anita Blake Series by Laurell K. Hamilton. From almost the beginning the main character succeeds in going after a couple main guys, but a few books down the line she has her choice of basically whoever and everyone else is cool with it. Obsidian Butterfly

Oh, I've never read that series. Does she end up with all of them? I know in the Academy series, the female will be with all of the guys. I'm not sure about the rest of the books on the list though.
Are there any books beside C.L. Stones that have reverse harem, but NOT focused on the sex? I do love the interaction between female heroine and multiple guys, but come on... First annoying thing: there seem to be instant "love", TOO much sex scenes and little of everything else.... Book suggestions would be very much appreciated :)

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...Oh Siv, I'm so duh. Don't know how I could've forgotten, but C.L. Stone's new book Thief is coming out Feb. 26th; and it's about the Academy too but with a New Adult group of guys and a girl!!!
I know! jut got the email from her with the back cover.. im in a OMG (slightly fangirl) moment. Btw - have you read Electric Storm? By Stacy Brutger. Here you've got got the reverse harem theme, but not the allmighty 24/7 sex scenes. The book might be slow at first, but believe me, if its your cup of tea, you'll be glued through book 2 :D I sure was. and the people around here will grow and bond more and more :D love it!

So yeah, I'd say she ends up with all of them.

I know a lot of people stopped before then since I think her first sex scene isn't until the 6th book so I stuck with the series hopping they would go back to the first books. A lot of the later books have to much insta-love sex scenes for me.
Also you can try Laurell K Hamilton's Merry Gentry series as well. Also has a lot of sex scenes and is more insta-love than the Anita Blake series but Hamilton is a good writer so her books are worth checking out.
Hi Katie! Are we talking about the same series? As far as I know, the author only got 2 books released in the series so far, and I really dont think its gonna match up with 20... if so, she gotta drag the storyline out a LOT! LOL.
But I think your talking about the Anita Blake series? I read book 1 and 2, then dropped the whole series. It felt continually boring, too shallow and waaaay too focused on sex,, wich normally is typical for reverese harems book.
Ive also read the 3 first books in the Meredith Gentry series. Although the writing is good, the plot is just painfully boring... you could probably sum up the whole series with 3 sentences. And skip 90% of the books bc of the sex scenes.
Wich is not what I'm looking for. Erotica is fine sometimes, but I never really read books for the sex.
If you got a good reverse harem wich focus on the plot, character building, and great world builds, I would really appreciate it :)
Siv wrote: "Are there any books beside C.L. Stones that have reverse harem, but NOT focused on the sex? I do love the interaction between female heroine and multiple guys, but come on... First annoying thing: ..." Maybe try Demons at Deadnight by A&E Kirk?
Let me know what you think if you try it out!:)
Sparkling wrote: "Siv wrote: "Are there any books beside C.L. Stones that have reverse harem, but NOT focused on the sex? I do love the interaction between female heroine and multiple guys, but come on... First anno..."Scarlet by A. C. Gaughen
Child of the Ghosts by Jonathan Moeller (maybe?)
The Judgement of the Six Series by Melissa Haag
Most books by Cassandra Clare
Heist Society by Ally Carter
Though I have to say that most of these books are for a slightly younger age, but only because the language is somewhat more clean in the books that I have just supplied you with.
Oh, you are awesome. I love getting opinions on it.

Kinda frustrated with this list, as many of the books should not be on it. If the heroine or main protagonist is choosing one guy to be with by the end of the book/series, then it should be considered a love triangle (or quadrangle, etc) - NOT reverse harem, where she can be with *all* of them. My fav RH books are C L Stone's Academy books, followed by Penelope Fletcher's Venomous. A couple others (Finding My Pack, Spearwood Academy) are RH that I've enjoyed. I just started Colleen Suttle's Blood Destiny series, I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Laurell K Hamilton's books have devolved into one long monotonous orgy. Many of the books on this list are menage "lady porn" (which is fine, I've certainly read my share), but there's not a lot of character development or plot, just sex. I so wish there were more authors writing in this genre. I'm very bored with the current trends flooding Amazon (BDSM, billionaires, motorcycle clubs, stepbrothers, vampires, etc).

The female lead isnt overwhelmed by her five guys either.

If any one want to read a great books on reveres harem then check out godhunter it has a female lead its a great book
Tania I could not agree more. I love both the Godhunter
series and the Electric Storm
series. The Finding My Pack
series is brand new but seems promising. The rest seem very YA or have the MC choosing a male in the end. Which defeats the purpose of a reverse harem. Any new suggestions?

You should try the Seraph Black series by Jane Washington!

Dana wrote: "Kinda frustrated with this list, as many of the books should not be on it. I've read C.L. Stone's books, Venomous, finding my pack, and the seraph black series. i've read a bit of connie suttle and while the plot is engaging, after a couple of books it gets incredibly confusing. She would introduce 20 new characters within 2 chapters and the names are so close in spelling I never knew who she was talking about. (ex: Wendlam and Wendlem - not exaggerating). Hopefully, you're better than I at remembering everyone. Word of advice, start with her first series Blood Destiny. They all build off of each other
Since the Ghost Bird series is about the same heroine and heroes, shouldn't Ghost Bird #1 be the only book on the list?
caitlin wrote: "Dana wrote: "Kinda frustrated with this list, as many of the books should not be on it. I was into it for a bit and then I was just lost. The progression of the plot just felt dull. A few others I've found are:
Lexi Blake's Thieves series, that starts with Steal the Light. I guess actually that's more MMF, but it's really good. And the next series that spins off of it is the Hunter series, that one will be more 3:1, and the first two books were great.
Then there's Sixes & Sevens, which is very Academy-esque
Trying to Live With the Dead by B. L. Brunnemer has a lot of potential.
Finding Honor by Ripley Proserpina.
The Phoenix series by Autumn Reed and Julia Clarke is great. And First Time in Forever and Splitting Seconds by J.C. Amato are both good in a super cheesy but great-if-you-don't-think-too-hard-about-it kind of way.
These are all not sexually heavy books, either, with the exception of the Lexi Blake stuff above. They focus more on the relationship building aspects.
I actually wanna give up on the lists. There are some major flaws with anyone adding whatever book they want, not knowing the right genre... Made a list myself, where I pointed out what RH actually is. One week later and lots of wrong books were added :(
I am tryin to fix this list!! If you notice others that don't fit please list them and I'll try to remove all of them!! :)
Sparkling wrote: "Siv wrote: "Are there any books beside C.L. Stones that have reverse harem, but NOT focused on the sex? I do love the interaction between female heroine and multiple guys, but come on... First anno..."B.L. Brunnemer's books are YA but it is RH

#27 Supernatural Prison series by Jaymin Eve is not reverse harem based on my research. I'd edit this if I'm wrong. Please let me know.(Check next page for more books that aren't true reverse harems)
The list are for books where the main heroine ends up with all the guys. (Menage mmf mfm, Multi-partner relationship)
Yasmin wrote: "#28 Cara's Twelve by Chantel Seabrook is not reverse harem based on goodread reviews"Yeah, I've read it. It looks like one at the beginning, but in the end it's not. She only ends up with 1 guy.
Siv wrote: "Are there any books beside C.L. Stones that have reverse harem, but NOT focused on the sex? I do love the interaction between female heroine and multiple guys, but come on... First annoying thing: ..."The Stardust series by Autumn Reed & Julia Clarke
The Veil Diaries by B L Brunnemer
The Faith series by Nikki Bolvair
#21 Hereditary (Beatrice Harrow #1) by Jane Washington is not reverse haremThe main character ends up with one guy. The entire time it looked as if it was reverse harem but it isn't.
The main character had 3 guys 1 'sorta' interested but became just a friend, and the other two were the real interest. So it's more like a love triangle. But she choices one at the end.
#60 #70 #73 Darkness series by Stacey Marie Brown based on research it might be a love triangle where she choices one guy at the end.
#58 Chosen at Nightfall (Shadow Falls #5) by C.C. Hunter is a love triangle based on reviews. The main character choices one guy.
