"As yet too hungry and too clumsy for tenderness, still he made love with a sort of unflagging joy that made me think that male virginity might be a highly underrated commodity." - Claire Fraser 'Outlander'

Judd might be Psy and Ice cold, but he sure does melt for Brenna and he takes charge in the bedroom.
Thanks for voting, Danielle! I'm really glad to see your ratings on the ones you've read. Makes me really eager to read these books! :-D
http://www.likesbooks.com/virginal.htmlHere is link to a great list of romance novels that feature virgin heroes. I had fun just looking through it and now can't wait to re-read some of my old favorites!
That list was my shopping list, Lindsey. Most of the ones on there were really good too. I am always on the lookout for these guys. :)
This is an awesome list! I love virgin heroes. I already had a lot of these on my TBR list and have already read a few, but I still found several new ones to add. Can't wait to read about more of these yummy guys.;-)
Thanks to everyone who've contributed. This is a great set of books! I can't wait to dive in myself. :-)
Fabulous list! I LOVE virgin heroes. But Susan Grant's How to Lose an Extraterrestrial in 10 Days is missing from the list... it's a scifi romance that features a virgin hero.
Hi Rhianna. I have the Susan Grant book in my list of books to read. I never get enough of the virgin heroes.
Should be on the list now. :-) Feel free to vote for your favorites! Thanks to all who've voted so far. Please feel free to add more if you like. :-)
This list should probably omit kids' books (I see some Harry Potter on here) since they most always feature virgins!
Does everyone else agree to adult fiction only? I'm willing to clean it up a bit if everyone is okay with that. I would suggest removing Twilight and the Harry Potter series at least. I see this list as being more for adult romance genre fiction. What does everyone else think?
Did some googling and it seems to confirm that the hero in No Rest for the Wicked was just celibate, not a virgin. Yes, I am very anal. ;-)
LOL. Unfortunately I can't delete the book.It just really annoys me that someone nominated Bitten. :grumble grumble:

I can delete it - are we sure Bitten doesn't have a virgin hero? I'm pretty sure but I could get in trouble for just arbitrarily deleting a book from a listopia list so I want to be 100%.
Also... does Lover Enshrined count? Didn't Phury have sex with a hooker in a bathroom in a previous book?
I am positive that Clay wasn't a virgin in Bitten. I am almost sure he had sex before Elena. I think I read it in Men of the Otherworld. I'll be home tomorrow, I'll look it up then.
Nichole, thanks to the very helpful gals at the Kelley Armstrong boards I have learned the following: our sexy sociopath Clay was indeed a virgin when he met Elena (why do I keep wanting to write that name with an h?)! BUT he wasn't a virgin anymore in Bitten cause he'd been with Elena for over 5 or 10 years. So... it's your call to keep or delete the book.
K, I deleted The Secret Pearl and Bitten.I hope you guys feel confident in that because there's all kinds of warnings when you delete a book from a Listopia list. :) Even when I'm 100% sure it makes me nervous.
You can feel confident about The Secret Pearl, I looked it up. Can give you a page number if necessary ;-)
The heroine in Rebecca really wasn't a virgin very long as she and Max got married almost immediately.
I guess the point is they got married?????

I had fun going down the lists too but found I have read none of them! I guess I prefer wicked ladies!

Arabellavidal wrote: "I don't think any of Judith Macnaught's heroes are either virgins or inexperienced."I agree!!

The Shattered Rose-Jo Beverly (he's technically not a v but he only ever sleeps with his wife), Lion's Legacy-Suzanne Barclay, Blackwind:Sean & Bronwyn-Charlotte Boyett Compo, The Preacher's Daughter-Cheryl St John, Taken by a Texan-Lass Small (I'm mentioning it cause he's a v BUT the book is awful lol), The Bridegroom's Vow-Rebecca Winters, The Lone Texan-Jodi Thomas. They are all V heroes. PS-I'm pretty sure, almost possitive that Kiss Me Annabel-Eloisa James hero wasn't a v. He just hadn't been with anyone since he was young. I can remember thinking, "wait, the list said he was a v but he's not"-don't quote me on that though. wow, this is long. happy reading!
While I love book number 102 on this list, nick Gentry was not a virgin, he had hired a prostitute to teach him all about sex and was quit knowledgeable when he meets Charlotte. I reread this book at least once a year, it's great but the hero is not virginal in the least.
It's been a while since I read 'The Darknest Night' by Gena Showalter, but I'm pretty sure I read a scene where Maddox said that he has had sex with the women who came looking for Paris. I'm not 100% sure. I never thought he was virgin.Does anyone know if I'm right or not?
