Vote here for August's ALT pick here or add your own suggestions. The discussion for this book will be online only. Remember that the Vaginal Fantasy Book Club focuses on female-centric romantic fiction, usually with historical, science fiction, fantasy, paranormal, or supernatural elements. For more information read The Vaginal Fantasy Alt Poll FAQ.

Also, for more great VF reads, check out The List of Lists for links to the various forum threads and listopias. One unread book from the Suggested Reads for Vaginal Fantasy listopia will be automatically added to the ALT poll each month.

You can see what Veronica thought of Night Circus. Sword & Laser covered it in December 2014.

Tyrolin Fab, thanks Sean!

Loved the Night Circus, although the repetition of the word "discern" irked me. Seriously, it was every second page. Apart from that!

Liz Why isn't Esteemed Vampire Cat by Tyrolin Puxty up here? ^-o-^

it's a YA paranormal comedy romance (between a sarcastic monster and a human...or is she a human) Has everything from tickle monsters to vampire cats to chasers (who are like the hot girl versions of Supernatural hunters) werewolves &really absurd stuff! We have to!

A. White Can you nominate a book from your own series if they fall in this category?

Entries should be longer than 100 pages and have 100 or more Goodreads star ratings. The primary purpose of the poll is to select a book that will be of interest to the group, not to be a vehicle for author promotion. Self-nomination is not forbidden, but it is strongly discouraged. Anyone seen as abusing the poll for personal gain will be flagged as spam.

A. White Ok, Thank you. I wasn't aware of that is why I asked the question. Supposed I read a book that doesn't have 100 star rating that you think some may like? The reason I asked the second question is that throughout the summer I have found a few unknowns that I think are pretty good.

You can add a write-in book to the poll, but it's unlikely to win. If what you want is to recommend a good book to read, I suggest you you make a post in one of the topics in the Book Discussion & Recommendation folder or start a new one with a title like "The Best Books You've Never Heard Of" or something like that.
