Forgetfulness definitely. I try to set reminders, but I sometimes forget to do that as well. Also, I am sometimes easily distracted, which attributes to the above.
I have to set a goal to focus on a task from start to finish. It's crazy because my job requires me to do several things at a time since we work with multiple clients all in different fields, For that Google Tasks have been my friend. I know I'll forget, so as soon as I have a task I add it to that and I check them daily, especially for the recurring tasks. It helps a lot.
I also just figured out how to add a reminder on my phone that pops up each time I text the person it's connected to. Ex. my daughter is graduating this month, and she told me a while ago. I forgot the date, but when she told me again in November, I set the reminder, so when I text her either solo or any of our group texts, I get the reminder each time.
Unforgiving. It's hard to let go and then it comes back in dreams (does that count as part of life?).

I'm glad that you got a workaround that helps with this, Shan~A~
My forgetfulness is still (prayers up) only when I walk into a room and forget why I entered it, or trying to remember the name of someone that I just mentioned days prior.😅

The Beloved Bibliophile wrote: "I can be impulsive and in many cases that’s good but sometimes it’s bad. I can be forgetful too"This is where I've been living all my life..😅 But I see myself as a big contradiction in terms. Because on the one hand I'm very impulsive with the things I want or need, but stable, steadfast and wise in my ownership of them once I've acquired them.. Isn't that weird? Most people who are impulsive often have shorter attention spans with their objectives, but I'm not like that.. Never have been.
I guess you could say that I'm impulsive yes, but I know what I want..
Patricia wrote: "I'm not sure it's forgetfulness as much as procrastinating, I put things off, then forget, 😂"😂😂😂😂 You would fit more in the category of Laziness then! Procrastination is the step cousin that leads to Laziness.😂
I voted for forgetfulness, because I'm the archetypal absent-minded academic type. (Although I'm 73 years old, I can't blame this on my age, because I've been this way at least since my teens!) To mitigate the problem, I use written notes on my calendars (desk and wall), and various memory devices.
None of those, I'm a perfect lil' Hobbit. 😂😂😂Overly critical would be my one Deadly Sin. But with books, not with people and their tastes as it is more common here than one would think. I'm pretty much live and let live with people's reading preferences and habits, that's why I'm friends with GRers that read stuff I wouldn't, because what they do and what they think of a book is their own, but once that same book falls in my hands . . . hehehe.

I see that..
Lots of forgetful people participated in this poll. 🙂I just wish I could move some of the garbage that is stored in my brain to make room for new stuff. So not completely wiping the hard drive, but upgrading the memory.

Well yeah that's true but part of the procrastination is never seeming to have enough time to get everything done in a timely manner 😵
I don't want to talk about the notes and list I have everywhere! 😰😂

🤣🤣🤣 I'm seeing that as well.. It certainly explains A LOT when regarding certain group activities for us.
I guess Pride would have to be mine. By that, I mean I let it get in the way of taking any help from people, even when I probably should. I've just always wanted/expected to be able to stand on my own two feet, do everything for myself, and not be a burden to anyone. It can be exhausting at times, though, I will admit.
