Poll
Sure, the covers make for good eye candy, but do the books make for good reading?
Please help me pick a series to start and use in SOS's "Serial Cereal Addict" Challenge (Cap'n Crunch category)!
I would LOVE to hear your thoughts on your series choice, but please don't add any suggestions for series not listed. That's why my TBR stack is so big in the first place! :)
Many Thanks! Steph

Hm, thanks. Didn't realize those were more novella than book. Guess I'll see what others have to say. If no one votes, I'll just close my eyes and point to one. LOL!
I love the Darkness Chosen series. I know it's not popular, but I enjoyed it.I read Demon Angel, and it was good.
I've only read one of the Bloodrunners books, and I wasn't impressed.
I read Darkness Chosen and wasn't that impressed (sorry, Danielle!), but it might have just been 'cause of the mood I was in.Ava Gray's Skin Game is AWESOME, and I have the 2nd book on hand to read soon, but I've also been very curious about Cooke's Dragonfire series and have those on my TBR.
Of these series I've read all the Dodd books, all the James books and the first one of Cooke's. I didn't like Dodd's first book but thought the rest got better. James was okay but nothing great, Cooke's was good but I haven't been in a rush to read the next two. I've read a couple of books by D'Arc (not the series you listed) and really like them. They are definitely more erotica than the others.
The only ones I've read are Dodd's and Cooke's. I thought they were decent, but nothing exceptional.
I haven't read most of those, except for Granite Lake Wolves. That was an ok read, not the best I've read, but I did like it and have gotten more of the series...reading some for this challenge in fact.I also read a Meljean Brooks short story for the first time--steampunk--and enjoyed it enough that I'm putting those on my TBR (haven't gotten round to it yet...but have it on a paper list...somewhere around the PC!)
Yeah, Judithe I thought Granite Lake Wolves was an OK read too. I've got at least the 1st 2 and maybe the 3rd one, but I thought Steph would prefer something more!
Thanks, everyone, for your input/votes. I really appreciate the feedback. I'm going to give "Skin" a go for this challenge and keep the other suggestions as possibles for a later time. Thanks again, ya'll are the best! :)

Brotherhood of Blood - similar but with a little more grit and of course vamps.
I've got the Dragon & Dragonfire series tbr so I can't comment and the others I haven't even got that far.
