This is an easy one! My mother and her twin brother were given to an orphanage in NYC, but the mother intended to come back for them and never set them up for adoption. She never returned. At the same time, a man with the same name on the birth certificate fell from a three story window and died. I could make a romance and a mystery out of this!

Just finished devilish montague and found it delicious, almost sublime. everything i look for in a regency comedy of manners. however did i miss your crediting Richard with solving the alpha numeric code that depended on Africa and Percy? if so that is the only flaw i can point to, it was ungenerous. I do hope to read Lady Bel and Quent's story. This was my first introduction to your work. I love parrots.
