I am working on a sequel; many thanks for asking, and your question gives me some incentive to get this done! The Road Back to Sweetgrass is actually preceded by The Dance Boots; some of the same characters appear in both. The manuscript I am working on right now (the sequel) will complete the trilogy. My poetry collection The Sky Watched: Poems of Ojibwe Lives addresses some of the same themes, and my forthcoming book Onigamiising: Seasons of an Ojibwe Year (Oct, 2017) is a collection of season-themed short pieces about living up north in Duluth Minnesota, which is on the shores of Lake Superior.
