Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Willow Croft I'm a huge fan of Neil deGrasse Tyson. I think that's what started my whole fascination with quantum physics/astrophysics as an adult. I take creative license and combine my love of science with that of poetics. Also, I was the typical nerdy kid who was fascinated by all things planetary (and dinosaurs!) and I wanted to be an astronaut. Since I wasn't very good at math (by standardized school standards), I let myself be discouraged from my dreams of being a scientist. So, by incorporating scientific matter into my poetry, I get to live vicariously through the experience of being a scientist. It's the best of both worlds (no pun intended!)!
