Ryan asked Michael Cannell:

Hello Mr Cannell, thank you so much for your book, The Limit. I listened to the audiobook edition. Thanks also for making that happen! I was disappointed when the book ended, and wish that there had been more time for you to tell the stories of the many fascinating individuals who appear in the narrative. Can you suggest further automotive titles/authors you've enjoyed? Thank you for your work!

Michael Cannell Ryan, I have a special fondness for the characters in The Limit -- the hand wringing American driver who had a special sympathy for the cars and the young count who aspired to be the smiling, handsome face of post-war Germany. The best automotive writer I know if Robert Daley, a former New York Times correspondent who wrote Cars at Speed and The Cruel Sport. You might also like By Brooks Too Broad for Leaping by Denise McCluggage, another correspondent. Let me know what you think!
