What was the first book you fell in love with?

Bonnie Berman Shores I wasn't encouraged to read as a child so I didn't start reading for pleasure until I was in my 20s. I imagine that I would have loved Dr. Seuss because I have a habit of rhyming everything all the time. I also think I would have loved Shel Silverstein since The Giving Tree remains one of my all-time favorite books. Anyway... the first book I remember falling in love with was The Bridges of Madison County, which also ignited a life-long fascination with India. In addition, I have to say that Twilight is responsible for my current love affair with YA paranormal romance.
