Debra Jeakins asked Kiersten Hall:

I very seldom comment to authors about books. I feel my review does that, but this book is the exception to the rule. I laughed my socks off reading the book. "I DO" I have been married for almost 40 years & the book took me back to my wedding day. Thanks for making me laugh ! (and cry) ?

Kiersten Hall Hi Debra ~ 9-12-17

Thank you for the compliments on "I Do"! I wrote the book back in 2005 as a collection of stories for my kids, serving as a 'here's where Mom was during the weekends of your childhood' and of the people who took the time to read the stories (besides my kids who eventually got around to it), everyone urged me to turn the memories into a book.

So, when people take the time to laugh (or cry) through "I Do", I'm thrilled to know another person had faith in picking up the book to take a chance on an unknown book/author (plus the unknown concept of 'humor' - you wouldn't believe how difficult it is to sell a funny book.)

Please share the fun of "I Do" with your friends and family; share the laughing. The world could definitely use more laughter. And if you haven't already, please convey how your socks fell off your feet in a Review; that would be most appreciated, too. ;-)

Take care ~
Kiersten Hall
