Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Aiki Flinthart IRON - which is coming out in 2018 - came about because my husband took up blacksmithing and it occurred to me how impossible our industrialised world would be without Iron.
The Shadows series came about when I was watching a doco on different typed of hominids. Won't give any spoilers.
Also work in progress is a time-travel stand alone story and a portal fantasy series. SO MUCH TO WRITE.
