What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Roger David Francis I love being able to put pen to paper and being able to create something which others enjoy reading as much as I've enjoyed writing. It may sound sad but I still get excited when the postman calls with my latest book, and I get to see the shiny cover and hold it in my hand for the first time. E-books are great but I still love the feel and smell of a physical book. Seeing my name on the cover is still a surreal moment for me. No other profession can give you the same feeling.
