Diana Alexander
Diana Alexander asked George Tyson:

You Mention that The Never King is part of a trilogy, even though it can stand on its own and is wrapped up nicely. Are the other books centered around the legend of King Arthur or something else? When will they be published?

George Tyson The story has always been a trilogy, at least in my mind. Each one is based on a separate legend or folktale. Obviously, The Never King is based on the legend of King Arthur. The second – Doon Hill – is based on the tale of the Reverend Kirk in Aberfoyle who was taken by the fairies. His research on the fairies – The Secret Commonwealth – is one of the icons of the Celtic fairy faith. The third book – The Keeper of the Wood – is based on an obscure but fascinating legend that is introduced toward the end of The Never King. It ties all of the books together and completes the story of Thistle. Doon Hill will be published in late 2018.
