I go for a walk with the dog to clear my head and simply ask myself what the character would do next. They're outside a door - do they open it or not? Then there is no block - you know what to write. What happens when they open that door usually follows if you really know your characters.
Don't sit staring at a screen whatever you do - get out there & absorb yourself in real life for a few hours - it's usually inspirational.
