Korry Franke Embrace the editing process. I'm embarrassed and mortified anyone ever saw the first draft of 3 Feet to the Left. But as is often said, the essence of writing is re-writing. I didn't fully appreciate that until I wrote this book. But without the friends and editors who helped massage and guide me, 3 Feet to the Left would never have been worth reading. In fact, I think the book is theirs as much as it is mine.
