Will there be a sequel to The Simple Soul of Susan? Any other books in the works?

Right now there are two books in the works. One will focus on Tia and Jim’s journey and romance. The second book focuses on Eric’s (Susan’s son) story. Both books are half written, since The Simple Soul of Susan took over three years from start to finish, it's uncertain when they will be ready. But when they are ready, you’ll see the announcement. :)

Many books I have read with a Texas setting, I just could not stomach. They were always trying too hard to appear "southern" and "loud" and "obnoxious" and just too, shall I dare say, "Dallas"?? I have had to put down so many books, because I just couldn't not see the effort. Before reading your bio, I could already tell. Here is an author that actually knows small town Texas. Thank! you! Loving your book!!
