What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Rob Bartlett I've carried these stories around in my head since I was 15 years old. Then when I was writing my first book, I thought no one would like it. When I finally got the courage to publish it and I received positive reviews and lots of page reads, 26k and counting for KU (whoohoo!!) in the first few weeks, I felt this enormous sense of validation. My readers get my POV, they enjoy reading my work. Knowing other people are being entertained is the very best thing for me.
