Goodreads asked Imber Blu:

What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Imber Blu First I would say readers.
Readers are the best thing about writing. To see someone reading your work, enjoying your work, offering criticism, etc.
That’s the best thing.
Second: Finding the things in ordinary life that send sparks into your imagination that can’t be stifled until they’re on paper.
It’s not unlike being an adrenaline addict. It’s very similar. The NEED to write starts by a desire to create. Once you have an idea it’s euphoric.
The process after can be challenging but the finale is again euphoric.
The greatest thing is that you know you can just keep having these moments forever.
