Goodreads asked J.S. Wolfe:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

J.S. Wolfe By not believing in it. Waking up at dawn, listening to soul-inspiring music, and holding pen to paper, is all I need to be quiet and listen to the voice that uses me as a vessel to write.
Other useful activities are walking in nature, meditating, reading good books or articles, listening to musicians that open up something within through which we can pour wisdom out. Imaginative and creative works of any type trigger us to focus on our own process.
A blockage often has to do with fear and fear indicates a form of self-obsession. Focus on others and how you can help rather than preoccupy yourself with criticism and your own shame. You can do it.
