Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Michael Hearns The genesis of my debut novel "Trust No One" was derived from my 10 years of being an undercover police detective in Miami, Florida. I was working large scale cocaine trafficking and high volume money laundering cases at a time when the intelligence and resources available were not as sharp as they are now. The success of those cases was less data driven and more street intuition and savvy focused. It was treacherous, uncharted, and dangerous. You really could "Trust No One" then.
