How do you deal with writer’s block?

Hillary Daecher It is an extremely frustrating feeling to have an idea, but be unable to articulate it in a way that will connect with readers. I write rhyming children's books and sometimes the rhymes just don't come as easily. If I can't work through it, I usually step away from the computer and spend time with my family or get lost in a good book. I've learned from experience that the idea will come back clearer if I step away for a bit.
