What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Troy Aaron Ratliff Creating worlds, characters, and scenes with the tap of some keys and I've transported someone to a completely different place that is only in my head and heart. Transferring those feelings, settings, scenes, and charachters to other people and seeing their reaction and excitement is a joy. I consider my books my children, so I hope people will enjoy them for the long-term and they continue to entertain.
