I finished reading The City Baker’s Guide while watching my 10 year old granddaughter. She asked why I was crying and I told her I had just finished a wonderful book and was crying because I had finished it. It made my heart so happy to share with her my love of reading and how emotionally connected some books make you feel. I can’t wait for more. Please let there be more?

Dear Dolores, Thank you so much for this wonderful note! I am so happy that you connected with the characters and story of The City Baker's Guide! And I love that it was a way to connect your love of reading with your granddaughter. I'm not sure if you know about my 2nd book The Late Bloomers' Club. It takes place in the same small Vermont town. It has all new characters, but you get to catch a glimpse of a few of the characters from City Baker--after all, it is a new town :) I am working on my 3rd book now.
