I'm working on a sequel to The Cactus Plot. The heroine, botanist Millie Whitehall, will be back, this time working with an archaeologist. They are documenting an abandoned homestead in northwest New Mexico. Millie learns two murders have occurred at the site, nearly a hundred years apart. Again, Millie's quick mind and knowledge of plant ecology helps to shed light on both grisly crimes. Readers of The Cactus Plot will recognize some favorite characters and meet some surprising new ones.
