Just write anyway. Even if it's nothing good. To me, "writer's block" is just a cute way to say "lack of motivation." At those times, it's discipline -- not inspiration or the mythical muse -- that puts words on the page. If I only wrote when the muse came knocking, I would never finish a manuscript.
