Goodreads asked Krish Gangadharan:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Krish Gangadharan This might seem like stating the bleedingly obvious, but the best advice I have received or I can offer is "write - right now". In my other life, I meet people who want to do a PhD, and years later they still want to. You can't do a PhD unless you enrol, take your exams, and start writing the dissertation. Writing a book is also similar, you won't write unless you write. In my book, "intending to write" means nothing. I intended to write my first fiction book 18 years ago, and wrote around 15% of it 6 years ago. It took COVID lockdown to get me to actually write it.
