'Learning Italian' came to me after reading a number of holiday reads. I started learning Italian a year or so ago and quickly realised I could read and listen to it, but speaking was the most difficult part of it. My mother had French cousins who they used to holiday with so I took this and changed it a little. Elise's voice came through me, how I would think and respond to certain situations.
