What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Taylor K. Scott Escapism, getting my thoughts out on paper and seeing what I can achieve. If I don't like what I've written, how can I expect others to like it. The first book I ever wrote is still in my second drafts folder, waiting to be made better because I can't quite get it right. I hope to because it's a series of stand alone novels and the final one is one of my favourites. But this first one is personal and looks at mental health and troubled backgrounds. I'm not going to put out something I'm not proud of.
