Not everyone will love your work- some will downright hate it and won't hesitate to say so! Focus on the lovers, not the haters, and don't be discouraged!
Don't be afraid to make online (and in person!) connections with other authors, editors, PAs, designers, readers...you name it, connect with it! People are so valuable in more ways than what their job title says.
