Goodreads asked E.J. Findorff:

What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?

E.J. Findorff It's a mystery with all the crazy stuff I did in my youth, how I ever came out of New Orleans in one piece. In a more specific instance, and not to glorify drinking, but one night at LSU I drank more than I ever had before because I was mobilized for the Gulf War and my friends were buying. I usually remember everything from a night of drinking and I never black out, but this night I did. I woke up in my friend's apartment not knowing how I got there because I had disappeared and no one had given me a ride. I still don't know. But, I'm sure if there was a murder, and someone placed me at the scene... it could end up being a good plot.
