I too am fascinated with Alix’s story. My Great (x6) Grandmother, Madeleine, was her best friend in the convent. So interesting to be able to reach back in history and learn of their extraordinary, everyday life. I have a first and only edition of Strange True Stories…my Great (x3) Grandmother was Sidonie DelaHoussaye, whose writing skills and discovery of old family manuscripts allowed us to know of these stories. ?

Do you have a first edition printing of the book or the original manuscript? Either of which would be something to treasure...
