Goodreads asked Adrian Hayward:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Adrian Hayward Type something. Anything. As long as I've put words on the screen, then I am no longer blocked. And, never edit as I write my draft. I must be faithful to the words as they come to me. I have an agreement with myself that the first draft must be terrible. If it's not, then it's not a draft and I'm doing something wrong. So if I catch myself editing, I un-correct it. For me, this keeps the ideas flowing.
