Gayle, I'm seeing this nearly a year too late, but I thought I would answer you anyway! At the moment, I'm not sure about workshops in San Francisco, but I do know of some online writing courses.
My friend Ted Rees teaches really great workshops periodically called The Overflowing Poetry Workshop, which can be found here: https://tedreeswords.com/overflowing-...
There is also the Threshold Academy, taught by my friend Zoe Tuck: https://www.thresholdacademy.org/
I can highly recommend them both!
