Paul asked Lisa Henry:

I'm loving Mark Cooper versus America, I've been screaming with laughter. I also think it's subtlety showing the large multi-cultural difference between Australian and Americans. It's a lot bigger than most people realise was that intentional? I still can't believe you've put a poor kid from Bunderburg, into college in PA. :) Paul

Lisa Henry Hi, Paul, and thanks! The entire idea of Mark Cooper versus America cam when JA Rock and I were writing The Good Boy, and kept tripping over each other's English. It all started when I had a character turn up with a flat white, and she said "Why had he brought paint?"

I said, "No, a flat white is coffee."

She'd never heard of such a thing. And it all went from there!
