Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Marla Madison Some of my plots are inspired by things I picked up from the news. In Iced Malice, which starts with a man freezing to death, that is something that did happen her in the upper midwest. The other one, about the missing couples, was inspired by a case that happened in southeast WI more than fifty years ago.
I like to make notes about news items that might make great fiction!
