I was walking down a street in Jerusalem, on vacation, when I saw a street sign that said Queen Shalom-Zion street. Since I'd never heard of any Jewish queen but Esther, I was intrigued. As a news reporter I was inspired to dig out the details: who this queen was, what she accomplished, and why history had buried her accomplishments.
