Mara Fields
It came upon me one night as I sat relaxing in the hot tub. The kids were in bed, all was quiet, and I had a flash of inspiration that would launch me into NaNoWriMo 2014 (the crazy month of Nov. where you commit to writing 50K words). My idea was not plot-related, it all about characters, which is frequently how I write...probably because I love literature with deep character development. Plot isn't as important to me.
