Hi Amy, Did you develop your character's dialogue by living in Appalachia?If not how do you research accents and regionalisms?When is your next book coming out,and when will you and yours visit western Canada?Lots of questions.

Amy Greene Hi, John! Thanks so much for your questions, and so sorry for such a long-delayed response. I was born and still live in the mountains of East Tennessee. The regional dialect of BLOODROOT's characters was very much inspired by the voices I grew up hearing, of families and friends and neighbors. I'm currently working on a third novel, THE NATURE OF FIRE, also set in Appalachia. There's no official release date yet, but hopefully it will be published soon!
