Hi! I read your book Rook Di Goo and I have a question about it, which I quite didn't undrstand. Why was El thinking victory after a scene, like " She was going to cry. Victory, how she hated herself in that moment." ? When is the next book coming out? Thank you for the answer in advance!

Thanks so much for your question! "Victory" for El is a slang word that is similar to someone saying "oh my god" or using "god!" as an expression even if they aren't actually praying or talking to or about God. Or similarly "oh my goodness"/"goodness!" even in situations that aren't actually good. It's basically a slang expression used express strong emotion. I hope that makes sense!
