Love the adam binder series, i had a thought So the immortals are old and some are older than others & the courts are based in direction. Do you think magical beings of significantly long life spans would care about the flipping of earth's magnetic poles? (like a thought experiment). I think it would be interesting if North and South had an ongoing disagreement over who was ACTUALLY north.

That's really fun to ponder, and since there are magical connotations to the cardinal directions, then you'd get a complete flip after a period of time!
