The idea for ALI evolved while I was writing INAUGURATION. I felt like I needed to know more about Ali's backstory and started writing down parts of her life. After I released Inauguration, I realized that I had enough material for a novella and that I wanted to share with readers how Ali became the girl she is in Inauguration.
