I think that writer's block is a sure sign that something in the book isn't working, so the first thing I do is stop writing. Sometimes it helps to read back over the manuscript and see if I can identify where a different path could have been taken, and sometimes I just run a bath and think. It's amazing how ideas come to you when you're up to your chin in water!

Iona, I am reading Letters To The Lost. You are putting my emotions on an emotional rollercoaster. I love this book so much but I seem to have come across an confusion involving Daisy. The Chapter 33 has the year 1943 but also Daisy. Just wondering if this was just a slight mistake as my group, I am doing chapter discussions. Leaving out spoilers as some members have not read it. Is it simply a typo?
