Mr. Blixt, when will you be bringing out the last 2 volumes of your Colossus tetralogy? I'm right in the middle of Vol. 1 now and enjoying it. I'm also learning a lot.

Hi Jane. First, please call me David.
Both of the next books are written, but they need heavy editing work. I actually wrote the fourth book first, then at the urging of my agent went back to flesh out the story with the books you're now reading. Naturally, as I got deeper into the characters and the history, the story evolved. So I need to now rewrite the books 3 & 4 to reflect the growth of the characters in books 1 & 2. And book 4 won't be the end of the series. I have at least two more to write after that.
If it seems like I'm hedging my bets on a release date, it's because I am. I'm working on three new novels at present, and will be out of commission this summer, which means I'll spend the fall finishing whichever of those novels captures my attention. Only then will I turn to retooling Wail Of The Fallen. So, hopefully, it will be out sometime in 2016.
I'm so glad you're enjoying Stone & Steel. I really cannot wait for the brothers to encounter the Roman who will change their lives, and have his life changed in return. But that has to wait for a bit. This whole series is building to a single climax - I knew the ending before I knew anything else. But we have miles to go before we sleep. So there's lots to look forward to!

Mr Blixt, why do I enjoy your books so much? Not a question, but a statement. I loved your Master of Verona series, and i am currently about 85% through Colossus: The Four Emperors and really, really loving it! I already read a lot of historical fiction about ancient Rome, but your book is making me hungry for more and yet more. Thanks!
