How do you get inspired to write?

L.A. Cotton I love to read, always have, always will. Last year (2014) I read A LOT! It's my escape, my coping mechanism, the thing that helps me relax. One day after reading one of the Wanted Series books by Kelly Elliot, I had a lightbulb moment, 'hey, I could do this'. At the time, I didn't start writing with the intention of it going anywhere, I merely wanted to see if I could do it... but 75,000 words later and here I am, about to self-publish my first novel. It sounds cliché, but writing is comes naturally to me - I'm almost annoyed that I didn't discover I could do it sooner!
