Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Natasja Eby My most recent book (yet to be published) is about a girl who moves from Hawaii to a little town outside Toronto. She makes friends with this nerdy kid who is constantly getting bullied, and together the two of them take up boxing and fight in a championship to put this bully down.

I got the idea for the idea for this book while I was honeymooning in Hawaii and wondered what it would be like for someone from Hawaii to have to move to Canada in the middle of winter. Answer: it would be terrible.
