Which genre and which age group are you the most comfortable writing?

Thanks for asking. Actually, I like writing for any age group (which makes people trying to market me crazy -- some readers only know me as a kid's guy, others only for adults). Genre? I just like to tell stories that haven't been told before. Fresh. Hopefully unique. (Probably my ADD showing). That often throws me in the supernatural pile (but without the horror) or quirky comedies like Child's Play. Whatever it is, I like to stir up people's thinking.

Bill, I haven't read any of your books, but I purchased 6 books for a book club at a Christian homeschool. I purchased Truth seekers the machine. I have read the reviews and I only feel a little nervous about the demon parts...the kids are young in my group 4th and 5th graders. They are all Christian children but I was wondering if I needed to explain anything to them before we start the book. Will this book be scary?
