What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Ella Clem My advice for aspiring writers is to listen to your heart, if writing is something that you really want to do, then give it a try. You never know if you can be a writer until you put everything you have into writing a book. It does take time to write a book. I spent part of a year writing my first book and only book so far, “Whitetail Deer Family”. Think about what story you want to write about. Sit down and get started typing and see what story shows up in your mind, could it be a love story or one about animals, etc.
I never thought that I would be a writer, I’m a photographer. I had many people to tell over the years that I need to put out a children’s book using my pictures of the whitetail deer family. I decided last year that I would give writing a story a try. I wrote about what I have learned about the deer family over the years. My pictures of the deer are what helped me to write their story. My book has two texts, one story text at the top of the page, and then a picture of deer and at the bottom of the page is information about the deer. The book tells a story and it is also an educational book about the deer and how they live. Wishing for new writers all the best, and good luck with writing .It can be fun at times.
