Ariana (mostly offline) asked Avery Cockburn:

Okay, I might be slightly biased as I love Scotland, but I love your series about the Gladgow lads. Most of all I think you're a fab author. You know how to draw a story that makes my heart beat faster and fret with the MCs until I know they found their HEA. Brilliant with your humour, your character development and the sizzle between your lads. It is a wonderful combination. Do you have any other series planned?

Avery Cockburn Awww, thanks, Ariana! I'm so happy you're enjoying the Lads. For now they are keeping me well and truly busy--too busy to start another series. In addition to the recently released Playing With Fire, I have another novel and two short stories (or possibly novellas, depending how long they are ;-) planned for the Glasgow Lads in 2016.
I'm not an incredibly fast writer--in fact, this is a blistering pace for me and I'm already having a bit of a heart attack trying to keep up with the scheduled. My novels tend to be long and complex, with layers of subplots and lots of growth for both heroes. I want each book to be better than the last. So even if I *could* write faster, I'm not sure I *should*.
That said, I'd be open to doing a spinoff series at some point. A few weeks ago I was up late watching the Scottish curling team and getting some ideas...
Of course there's always the possibility of collaborating with another author, but I'd have to think very carefully about it to make sure the Lads come first.
Thanks for your question!
