Hi! I just started reading Soulless and I was wondering if the other series (Finishing School and Custard Protocol) is connected to its story line? Am I right to read the Parasol Protectorate first? I love your writing style by the way. You have a very nice way with words. I'm barely in the middle but I'm seriously loving Alexia Tarabotti. Hopefully I'd finish all your books before this year ends. ^^

All my books are interconnected, think of them a little like Lackey's Valdermer books. Or McCaffery's Pern.
You can read them in the order written:
Parasol Protectorate
Finishing School
Custard Protocol
Or in chronological order:
Finishing School
Parasol Protectorate
Custard Protocol
I even have readers who have only read the CP series and are still immersed.
People seem to get things out of the books either direction. Within each series you should read the books in order. They series themselves, are designed to be read in any order, and upon rereading in a new order you learn new things about cross over characters.

First off I'm a big fan of your Soulless series, it was fun to read. My question is have you considered doing a spin-off series about Alexia Tarabotti's father? I know you have a short story with him in Egypt I was just wondering if you were going to continue with him? He was such an interesting character.
